Solutions to common faults of fiber laser marking machine?

1. No laser output but the lights of the machine is on

Root cause: The lens cap was not removed. The power percentage setting is too small;

Solution: Remove the field lens cap of the fiber laser marking machine and adjust the power percentage.

2. Power indicator OFF

Root cause: the power cable is not connected. The power indicator is broken.

Solution: connect the power cord of the fiber laser marking machine . Replace the indicator.

3. Indicator lights not on but there is output

Root cause: The power indicator is broken.

Solution: Replace the indicator of the fiber laser marking machine .

4. Laser stop emitting light during marking process

1) Please confirm that the marking card is an adjustable pulse width fiber laser marking card. And set the correct parameters.

2) It is strongly recommended to use genuine marking cards and marking software.

3) Please confirm whether the connection cable of the fiber laser marking machine  is loose.

4) The marking card or computer freezes.

5. “Temperature error” came out when press the “Mark” button

1) Please confirm that the marking card is a variable pulse width fiber laser marking card and set the correct parameters. The hardware circuit is connected correctly;

2) It is strongly recommended to use genuine marking cards and marking software;

3) Check if the fan of the fiber laser marking machine works normally;

4) Check if the fan air inlet is blocked;

5) Check if the wind direction of the fan is consistent with the wind direction of the fan system;

6) After checking, please restart the machine laser.

6. Laser source connected but without laser come out

1) Please confirm that the marking card is a variable pulse width fiber laser marking card and set the correct parameters. The hardware circuit is connected correctly;

2) It is strongly recommended to use genuine marking cards and marking software;

3) Please confirm whether the laser output of the marking sample is smooth

4) Adjust the focus of the fiber laser marking machine ;

5) The laser will reduce the low frequency power output.Set the pulse width frequency power test laser, the parameters are as follows: 200ns-100kHz-50%;

6) If it still cannot be resolved, please write down the marking environment as soon as possible and contact our technical staff.

7. Other issues and analyses

1)There is a deviation on the optical path of the fiber laser marking machine . For example, if the vibrating lens is damaged, the coating layer of the vibrating lens is damaged, the surrounding environment is excessively vibrated, and the external voltage is unstable.

2) There is a problem with the laser cavity of the fiber laser marking machine , such as the full mirror and half mirror are loose (possibly the frame is loose), or the laser module is loose, and the YAG rod is fixed loose.

3) Insufficient cooling capacity, such as insufficient water flow, partially blocked water pipes, bent water pipes, water pump problems, compressor problems

4)There is a problem with the computer of the fiber laser marking machine and scoring software. Such as poisoning, parameter modification, etc.

5) The laser module 808 chip and YAG rod are saturated, there is a problem with the module power supply, and the led module is unstable.

6) Q switch is loose, Q switch does not dissipate heat well

7) The temperature difference between the room temperature and the chiller is too large, the humidity is too high, and the lens in the laser cavity is atomized, such as full mirror, half mirror, Q switch, YAG rod end. The solution is to increase the temperature of the chiller, within a range of not more than 3 degrees from room temperature, place a dry vent in the light cavity, and seal the light path.

8)The field lens of the fiber laser marking machine is covered by dust during marking, and the focal length during marking is not adjusted to the most suitable position.
